Okay! Now let’s get into it! In this episode, I talk about three conception tips that are truly non-negotiable when it comes to supporting your fertility naturally and within God’s beautiful design.
Here’s a fun fact that might surprise you: cervical mucus, one of the “big three” needed to conceive, is made up almost entirely of water. That means if you’re dehydrated, it directly impacts the quality of your mucus!
In order to get pregnant, you need cervical mucus, a healthy egg, and healthy sperm all together at the right time, by the Lord’s hand. Cervical mucus is only produced during your ovulatory phase, so supporting your body’s hydration during that window is key.
Aim for 80–100 ounces of water per day. This will vary a bit based on your weight and activity level, but that’s a great starting point to keep your body well-resourced.
Maybe you are drinking enough water every day… but did you know drinking water alone isn’t enough? Your body actually needs the right minerals to absorb that water and become truly hydrated at the cellular level. So let’s talk about two easy things you can add to your water each day.
This tip matters just as much during pregnancy, by the way! Staying well-hydrated with quality minerals supports your baby’s health too.
This one is a biggie, and I could honestly talk about it all day. Your body is always communicating with you… and when you learn to listen, everything changes!
Biomarkers are the signals your body sends to show you what’s going on inside. Things like:
