After our third loss, I was numb. We had walked through a heartbreaking 15-week miscarriage… and then two chemical pregnancies, all in a row. My body was exhausted. My spirit was grieving. My prayers felt like whispers in the dark. And yet, I found myself asking, “Is it time to try again?” Maybe you’ve asked that, too. Maybe you’re asking it right now.
In today’s podcast, I walked through six different questions I had to ask both myself and the Lord before we tried again. I want to share those with you because trying again isn’t just a physical decision. It’s holistic, and impacts us spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Have I taken time to heal? Loss is still birth. Your hormones shift. Your body changes. Your spirit needs rest. It’s okay and even necessary to take time.
Have I taken time to learn? What was going on in your body? Do you know what your chart is telling you? Are there imbalances that can be supported before trying again? (If you are needing someone to hear your story and are seeking guidance or support, I would love to talk with you. Reach out to me here for a free consult).
Am I making decisions from desperation? Or surrender? Desperation says, “I just want to be pregnant again.” But surrender says, “Lord, I trust your timing.”
Have I made changes from what I’ve learned? Whether that’s nutritional support, charting, or hormone healing, have you given your body a chance to apply what you’ve discovered?
What does God say? What do my charts say? What does my husband say? Partner with the Lord in this. Give your body a listening ear. Seek unity with your husband.
Have I asked for help? Because sister, you don’t have to do this alone. You don’t have to Google your way through healing.
This is where Fertility Framework is such an amazing opportunity. In this program, I walk alongside you in grace, seeking God’s truth, teaching you about our incredible design as women and reminding you that there is hope. Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that God is not finished working in the deepest, darkest places of our lives: “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
If this encouraged you or if it spoke to your heart, I would love to invite you to take the next steps:
Join Fertility Framework to learn about God’s design for women and where you can find answers, support and hope.
Take my free hormone quiz to assess whether your hormones are healthy and balanced, or if they need healing.
