You’ve changed your diet. Bought the fancy supplements. Tracked your cycle like a pro, and prayed your heart out. But still… nothing. Not the baby you long for or the peace you hoped would come. Just exhaustion, confusion, and maybe even a quiet bitterness that creeps in while you scroll past yet another pregnancy announcement.
If you’re here, sister, I just want to say: You are not alone. And you’re not doing something wrong. In fact, you might be doing too much – and missing the invitation to do less, to do it differently, or to simply come and sit with the One who sees you.
I want to walk you through what I shared in my recent podcast episode, four hidden reasons you might still be stuck even though you’re doing everything right, and how to shift your focus toward what actually leads to breakthrough.
Let’s start with the obvious. You’ve probably got a lineup of capsules on your counter, maybe in a cute organizer, or maybe in a chaotic drawer next to your thermometer and ovulation strips. And while supplements can be helpful, they are not the solution.
I’ve seen it over and over: women taking high-quality, well-researched supplements that are still overwhelming their system. Why? Because every single thing you put in or on your body, good or bad, still has to be processed. And your liver is already working overtime. Add to that the fact that most people are taking things they found in a Facebook group or heard from a friend – without any testing, coaching, or guidance – and it can actually become counterproductive. (I offer a free 10-minute consult if you are needing support in your journey). Supplements can support healing, but they can’t replace wisdom. And they can’t substitute peace.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this: “My labs came back normal, so the doctor says it’s unexplained infertility.” But here’s the thing – if your labs weren’t timed to your cycle, especially post-ovulation, they’re not telling the full story.
Hormones shift throughout your cycle. Progesterone, in particular, needs to be tested at the right time (usually 5–7 days after ovulation) to get an accurate picture. If your labs were drawn on cycle day 3 or at some random time, they might miss the very hormone crash that’s impacting your ability to conceive or stay pregnant. That’s why inside Fertility Framework, I walk women through how to chart and time their labs with intention so we’re not chasing false answers or missing big red flags.
We live in the age of information. At any given moment, you can Google “fertility tips” and get 7,000 different suggestions. And if you’re anything like me (or most of the women I serve), you’ve probably tried most of them. Castor oil packs. Red raspberry leaf. Vitex. Seed cycling. Cutting dairy. Adding dairy back in. Saunas. Cold plunges. You name it.
But when you try to fix everything at once, you become so overwhelmed that nothing actually sticks. Or you get so desperate that you start adding one more thing… and one more thing… until you’re buried under a pile of to-dos with no peace to show for it. Friend, this is where discernment matters more than doing. What if God’s not asking you to change your whole life this week – but just one thing? One act of obedience. One area of trust. One small change that’s actually sustainable.

Here’s where we go deeper. I believe the most important question isn’t, “What else can I do?” It’s, “How’s my heart with the Lord?” Now hear me – this is not a guilt trip. There are dry seasons. There are weary seasons. There are seasons where prayers feel like they’re bouncing off the ceiling. But that doesn’t mean He’s absent. And it doesn’t mean you’re forgotten.
“So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire…” (Isaiah 55:11) When you’ve done all the right things but still feel empty, it’s easy to assume God’s promises don’t apply to you. But His word never comes back void. Even when you can’t see the harvest yet. Even when your womb feels silent. He is working. He is weaving. And He’s inviting you to trust Him – not just with your fertility, but with your heart.
Isaiah 55 says: “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters.” It’s an invitation. Not to strive. Not to fix. But to come. To sit with Him. To let Him be your joy before the test turns positive. To let surrender be the place where healing begins, not the final step after exhaustion.
